Hello, My name is Nilla and I am the Head Mascot here at Shades. My job is to make you feel welcome and to encourage you to eat with us. I like to spend my time outside the restaurant greeting my public (it's much more pleasant than being left home alone.) I consider myself dignified and lady-like and I really prefer to lay back on my cot and allow you to pet me on the head.
I have been such a hit that the boss decided I needed an assistant. Bean.

As you can see, Bean is 'glad to meet' just about anyone, and anything - person, leaf, rolly bug, gum wrapper. While I appreciate his enthusiasm, I do wish he would comport himself with just a touch more dignity <sigh>
Generally, we can be found on the patio in front of Shades Monday, Wednesday and Friday - weather and schedules permitting. Please, stop by, say hello, and try a Fido Meal!
